Welcome to Our Club
We are a group of professionals and business owners who meet weekly to network, socialize and learn about important issues in our community from presenters ranging from FSU’s president Eric Barron to fitness guru Don Rupp. We contribute to and participate in community service projects; including building disabled access ramps for homes, serving food at Wounded Warrior camps and the Kearney Center for the homeless, serving meals and ringing bells for the Salvation Army, staffing tables at Christmas time for the Sharing Tree and Tree of Remembrance, and providing food, books and supplies for free lunch students.
The Dr. Samuel Meyer Scholarship has been established by the club to provide financial assistance to a graduating senior from a Leon County high school exhibiting potential and is active in school and the community at Tallahassee Community College.
We’re also part of an international network of over one million members of 30,000 clubs worldwide, and in conjunction with other clubs, help build water wells and sanitation systems as well as provide school supplies in other countries. The Rotary Foundation has contributed $40 billion to service projects around the world. Thru Polio Plus, Rotary and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have almost eliminated polio.
Join us, and have an opportunity to network and provide service to others along with business professionals here and in other countries. You’ll gain important leadership skills, make friends and serve our neighbors, both at home and abroad.
